Decent travelodge - not staffed all the time it seemed, but when we did meet staff they were warm and happy to help. The room was small but did the job, and the temperature in the room was easy to adjust. Overall had a good night's sleep, in a location ideal for exploring the city!

This Travelodge is conveniently located just a short walk away from Chester City Centre. We stayed for one night, and found the staff very friendly. The rooms are the up to date versions, you could however tell our bed was old. We had a nice view out of our window at the front of the hotel. Rooms are across two floors so it's a smaller Hotel. Overall, we had a joyful stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.
A perfect stay. Rooms were clean and spacious and had adequate facilities for both me and my partner. Service from the front desk was great and wasn't robotic in the sense that you could have a laugh with them too. Location is perfect too. Over the road from the Amphitheatre and a 5 minute walk from the main strip in Chester. Highly recommend to anyone not wanting to break the bank but maintain a good standard!
We stayed here a few weeks ago and it was a really pleasant stay. Rooms were good and staff were helpful when I asked for more milk. Our room was across from the amphitheatre and it was close to other bars. It's about a 15 minute walk from Chester train station.
Great value. Clean rooms at a good price. Central position. No parking but you can get discount parking nearby. Walking distance from bus and train stations. Very near almost everything of interest.
This place is a wonderful place to stay. It is very clean the staff are absolutely amazing. Only 10 mins walk into town centre.
Typical Travelodge close to the centre of Chester. Location very good even though it is on a main road. What isn't apparent from photos is that there is a wine bar on one side of it and a sports pub on the other. They also share a pub garden courtyard to the rear of the Travelodge building. We overlooked this but had no problems since it was February and way too cold to be in use. Rooms adequate without being fantastic..... Never a towel to stand on when you get out of the shower. Staff nice but never about since always busy with other duties. That said we had a good time in Chester. We would come again and we would use Travelodge again.
